Common Questions
Do your prices include parts?
No. Every price listed is labor only. Any parts your bike needs, from a tube or cable to something we have to order in, are billed separately and itemized on your invoice.
What is the difference between a Basic and Premium tune-up?
Basic ($55) covers brake and derailleur adjustments, a tire check, a bolt safety check, and a frame wipe-down. Premium ($80) includes all of that plus wheel truing, lubrication, chain cleaning, and frame polishing.
How long does a repair take?
Most bikes are back in your hands in three to five days.
Do you come to me, or do I bring the bike to you?
We come to you. We pick the bike up at your door, do the work, and bring it back when it is ready.
Do I need to be home for pickup and delivery?
No. You do not need to be home for either one.
How much is pickup and delivery?
It is a flat fee based on distance from Buffalo Grove: $25 within 1 to 5 miles, $35 for 6 to 10 miles, and $50 for 11 to 15 miles. The fee covers the trip, not each bike, so several bikes cost the same as one.
Can you fix my bike at my house?
On-site work is limited to tubes and brakes, for a $20 fee. Anything beyond that needs to come back with us.
Do you service e-bikes?
No. We do not service e-bikes.
What does the 10-day guarantee cover?
We stand behind our labor for ten full days after the work is done. No fine print.
When are you open?
We run March through October, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
How do I pay?
Payment comes after the work is finished. Once your bike is back, you get a Stripe invoice by email with a secure pay link. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
